We are packing for Newcastle Island. It might be our favourite camping of the year. Five nights on a small island park in Nanaimo harbour. No cars allowed. Only bikes and feet. We get there by harbour ferry and walk across a big field to our shore front group camping spot. 

This year we got to borrow my sisters car so we can take both bikes and kayaks. 

And up over the Malahat we go in gorgeous summer weather.
