Ok, so here is the most fantastic thing of the day. They just won the final! They are the fastest boat of the whole festival. Wow.

Sunday July 6
The kids are doing fantastically at the nanaimo dragon boat festival. They have come first in all their races so far which puts them in the platinum division finals for the last race of the day. Eva is two rows from the back and Julias is up at the front leaning over the drum doing the calling. Gold medals to take home with them and a big ass trophy that will stay in Nanaimo somewhere. We parents watching were more excited than the paddlers.
