Sunday = Christmas tree getting

Sunday only my littlest guy and I drove up to Duncan to cut a Christmas tree down on my mother's thirty acre property. It was chilly and beautiful up there and we put our rubber boots on to go out in the back field.
Mom said to check how the creek was running after all that rain we had a few days before. It looked good and full.
This is a creek that dries up almost entirely in the summer, so this is as full as it ever gets.
There were little round water droplets on all the tall grass, beautifully shiny in the sunlight. This is facing away from the sun.
This is looking towards the sun.
The trees were all covered in wet as well.
Spiky grand fir.
Here is one that was too much like a bush with trees way too tall for Christmas trees in background.
We brought a little, quite attractive, very spiky grand fir in the end.
