Off to Staples to do colour printouts of my son's homework assignment. We have no colour printer at home, the last bubble jet having died recently. We made a choice to only have a black and white laser printer in the house and thus avoid the problem of the bubble jet ink cartridges constantly drying up before we can use them up. 

So we took J's USB key with his images into Staples and he did it all himself using a copy card. It was pretty cool actually how seamless everything worked. I know that doesn't always happen, but it's satisfying when it does. 

Assessing the results. Yup, looks great. 

Then in the afternoon I took my daughter off to her theory exam  where all the exam writers listened to a briefing by the very serious Tatiana in her strong Russian accent. All the things you must not do during your two hour exam: no eating or drinking anything, no bags or coats, no cellphones, no going to the bathroom. Add this list of don'ts to everyone's general pre exam nervousness and you get a roomful of grim looking youth.
