Monday September 1

Today we were sorting out school supplies and I rediscovered the old pencils from my husband and my childhoods. Cheerios had a special deal back in about 1978 or so where you could order packs of pencils with your own name custom printed on the side. There are still a couple of them left in our possession. 

It's fun because it's something we have in common from way before we ever knew each other. 

Other point of news for today. The cricket under the fridge was spotted and captured out in the open in the middle of the kitchen floor. Yes!

You are outta there!

News flash: about five minutes ago, the cricket's secret companion started up his chirping from under the fridge. Nice and loud. Yup.
