It looks partly like food and partly like debris from a building site!!!! And I'm thinking that the second guess is closer to the truth. The ceiling falling in ????????
It's a really close up picture of that spot on the ceiling in the kitchen. And a drip of water on it the day we had sudden heavy rain and thunder and lightning a week or so ago. Time to investigate further I think.
