We made a colourful group with our raincoats on.
An enjoyable thing about the cabin was the hot tub. I have decided that I would like to have a hot tub at my house. Wonder if that will happen anytime soon?

Weekend away near Sooke.
We rented a cabin out past Sooke this long weekend. Family day gave us Monday off. We went for a hike on the Juan de Fuca trail, in the rain, of course. Down to Mystic beach which is still beautiful in the rain. We only took apples for a snack but we sat and ate them on the beach.
