Strawberry picking expedition

We dressed the same by mistake.
This is one mutant berry.
I made jam.
We ran into traffic from the ironman triathlon going on at the same time. Lots of bikers.

Widening the driveway

We hired a bobcat crew to come take out the remaining bit of cement retaining wall so we can have the driveway wide all the way to the road.
It took about fifteen minutes to break it down.
Tree stump in the way and lots of roots.

Birthday party six months on

We went to the park and T climbed way up in a tree. Can you spot him?
I zoomed in.
We took twenty four kids to the pool for a birthday party and they just disappeared in big pool space. Can you spot any kids
They went off the diving board
They walked back to our house for present opening which we did on the front lawn.

Band trip

This year the grade eights went to Seattle  for their band trip.
My son plays the tuba and cello so he got to lug those big instruments with him.
Two busses. Lots of kids. Three days jam packed full of stuff including a trip to see a Phantom of the Opera performance.
For the next two months we have been hearing the Phantom soundtrack played repeatedly at home.

House fixing

We finally got someone to come and take out the extra vent pipe that was falling down through the kitchen ceiling and dripping when it rained.
He got it out by pulling it down through the ceiling and then cutting it so it was in two sections.
There was a one foot section left that wouldn't pull out.
And then he patched up the ceiling better than it was before.
